Livehacks 2.0 is the second edition of an annual hackathon where Coders, Designers and Makers come together in Stockholm, Sweden to revolutionize the way we experience live entertainment events and enhance the concert-going experience. I absolutely love going to concerts so this was definitely a ~super~ exciting brief to me.

During this one-day hackathon, our team created an application that allows concert-goers to experience entertainment virtually anywhere, in which virtual tickets will be sold at a lower price point than the original ones. They will be able to watch exclusive performances, festivals, concerts and even intimate acoustic sessions as they happen.
To experience the spirit of the crowd, we code out a tracker to record concert-goers’ movement with iBeacons and translate their activity into a 3D heatmapping visualisation which will be shown on every connecting mobile device in the arena, and around the world.
